Rewind 2 months ago: It was the Friday evening, after Thanksgiving when Jaime's dad picked up Wes from his house, to head to the
Amerks game. A nervous Wes sat through period 1 and half of period 2, before the excitement got the best of him. After asking for his blessing, Wes put into motion the top secret plan to propose to Jaime.

From that point, the next step was to involve Rylyn and the cast/crew of
La Cage Aux Folles. Thankfully, everyone in the company was on board and extremely willing to help facilitate such a big idea.
Chances are, if you're reading this blog, you know Jaime very well. With that being said, it goes without saying that she's very on-top of things. So clearly, a diversion was in order, to keep her clever mind preoccupied:
Now that Jaime was "involved" (muahahahahaha), the most important thing was for her to remain clueless. Quite a feat, considering the next month included a joint Wine Tour, Christmas and New Years...you know, all those liquor-less holidays. :)
So now we've come to D-day (January 20th, 2012)!
7:30a: The Juliano's arrive at Reagan Airport.
12:00p: The Limoli's arrive in Arlington (shhhhhh, don't let Jaime know).
4:10p: Jaime picks up Wes from work.
5:30p: Rylyn leaves for the show (Jaime tries to give her a "ooooo, Wes is going to be so surprised" look - but she just smiled and left, knowing Jaime was the one in for the surprise). Check out the email from the Stage Manager, that was sent out to the cast prior to the show:

5:40ish: The Juliano's arrive at the apartment.
5:42p: Mrs. Juliano begins Operation Keep Jaime Seated through Intermission, which went a little something like this: "I really don't want to have to get up during Intermission; those bathroom lines are a nightmare."
5:43p: "Can I get you guys anything to drink?" offered Jaime, as she poured herself a gigantic glass of orange juice.
5:43 and :30seconds: A defeated Mrs. Juliano decides to postpone the operation until we arrived at the theatre.
6:30ish: The Juliano's and Jaime arrive at
The Kennedy Center.
6:40p: "Ok, let's find the bathroom," said Mrs. Juliano, Mr. Juliano, and Wes.
6:40p: "These people really need to pee," thought Jaime.
6:45p: In a last stitch effort to throw Jaime off, Mr. Juliano expressed his excitement for surprising Wes. "This is going to be great. He has no idea." Any suspicions Jaime may have had went out the window in that moment.
6:46p: The Juliano's and Jaime are the 1st in line to enter the theatre, hoping to get seated and avoid any run-ins with the Limoli's.
6:46p: The Limoli's are waiting them out at a local hole-in-the wall bar, called
Froggy Bottom.
7:00p - showtime: Check out the text exchanges between Mrs. Juliano and Mrs. Limoli:
Mrs. Limoli: Coming in, keep her busy!
Mrs. Juliano: The eagle has landed.
Mrs. Limoli: haha, now to keep her there. We're in our seats. This is so stressfull!! Turn off the lights!!!
Mrs. Juliano: No kidding.
7:30p: Showtime
8:30ish: Intermission. Jaime develops a headache and wants water. Panic ensues among secret keepers:
Mrs. Juliano: She's moving. Going for water.
Mrs. Limoli: We're in our seats, afraid to move. Heads are down. The people around us think we're strange...this whole family can't sit up straight.
Mrs. Juliano: She's back! I'm strapping her in good!
8:45ish: Act II begins.
10:00p:
Jaime's thoughts: "Here we goooooo!!!"
Wes' thoughts: "Here we goooooo!!!"
