The price of the newest DVD to be added to our collection, is what!  $5 at Target!!!!!!  Can't BEAT IT.

One of our most favorite gifts this holiday season, was a subscription to the Wine of the Month Club!!  ...thanks Rylyn! :)  Our January supply arrived last week - 1 red, 1 white.

Weekend Recap!

There's nothing like a weekend of full of relaxation, fun and checking items of the to-do list! That's exactly the type of weekend we had.  Here's a look...

Friday night:  Had a couple of delicious burgers at the Eleventh Street Lounge.  We plan to go back for their weekend brunch - $1 mimosas and bloody mary's - plus, if you bring your receipt from dinner you get 20% off! 

Saturday morning:  Jaime finally found a yoga studio that offers Vinyasa Yoga!  $50 unlimited yoga for a month...check!

Saturday afternoon:  Finally bought curtains!  We had to special order the curtain rod since our window is extra long, so stay tuned for pics.

Saturday evening: We made cabbage for the 1st time in both of our lives! For what, you ask?  A pierogi and cabbage meal, which we washed down with a little (ok, a lot) vino from our fantastic Wine of the Month gift (compliments of Rylyn :)) - more on that later!    

Sunday evening:  While Jaime was at another lovely yoga class, Wes  started to practice his calligraphy!

Heaven is: January 7th, wearing shorts, eating outside, and driving with the sunroof open!.

Wes has decided to run the Marine Corps Marathon next October!  Naturally, he's started training, and the Saturday morning before we went home for the holidays he completed this impressive run...

That's right, 9+ miles already!  Take that Green Honda Civic.

We're Baaaaaack

Did you miss us?  Happy New Year!

We're slowly getting back to reality here in VA after a glorious 9 days at home.  As we ease back into our routines, here are just a few snapshots from our adventures in NY.  Enjoy!

We visited the Eastman House with Mrs. L & Jaime's Uncle Bobby.

We went bowling with some good friends.  It got intense...

 

Speaking of intense...Wes got a new tattoo.  You'll have to stay tuned for pics of the artwork; it's amaaaazing!!

We rang in 2012 by heading back to the 60's - Mad Men Style.

We had such an amazing time at home with our family and friends.  For those of you we didn't get to see, you'll just have to come visit us!  Schedule your visit ASAP - the kick a$$ air mattress is booking up fast!
